Pelleas

Pelleas was not, at first, particularly famous for his acts of courage, for who he beat in battle, or for which dragons he slayed. Unlike most stories of the knights, Pelleas was first most famous for his relationship with Ettard. He fell in love, and she did not love him back - so he vowed to be around her until she loved him back.

Regularly, Ettard would send him knights to defeat in battle to prove his worthiness; when Pelleas slayed them, he was thrown into jail, and he went gladly because it meant that he had a chance to be near her. When he was freed, she would tie him to her horses tail, or the underside of its belly, and make the horse run back to his own kingdom. Needless to say, she despised him. But Pelleas never gave up.

Gawain volunteered, one day, to help Pelleas in his mission to get Ettard to love him back - far from the loyal wingman, Gawain ended up sleeping with Ettard. Pelleas saw them. Distraught, he ran, his heart broken, vowing to never get up from his bed until he died.

But his life turned around the day that he met the Lady of the Lake. When they fell in love, Nimue turned all of Pelleas' love for Ettard into hate, and made Ettard love Pelleas the same way that he had loved her. For a while, Pelleas continued to adventure with the Knights of the Round Table - but before the final battle, the Lady took him back to her lake, and kept him there so that he did not die.

They married shortly before that, and as there's no written end to their story, we can assume that they lived the classical happily ever after - the Lady with somebody that put her as first priority in life, and Griffen with somebody that actually respected him.

Griffen Turner

Born to a moderatelty wealthy family, Griffen's goal in life was to be just like his father. After school, he attended medical school, and graduated with a doctorate, specializing in the same thing his father had; Emergency ER care.

Now in his second year of being a fully fledged doctor, Griffen works in the hospital closest to Britannia. Gladly working long, stressful hours, he dedicates most of his life to his work, and would likely have no outside life at all if it weren't for his on-again off-again boyfriend, Terry. Like his previous absolute devotion to Ettard in the face of cruelty, Griffen goes through much the same with Terry.

He hasn't been paying attention to the dreams he's been having lately, but he has been spending more time down at the lake near Britannia. Whenever he has some time off, and is not with Terry, Griffen drags his canoe down to the lake and spends hours there, just sitting.

Personality: While some people might be described as a little bit of a pushover, Griffen can be described as a complete doormat. He falls in love with no regard as to who he's actually falling in love with, and whether or not they're a good person - and will gladly put up with anything just to stay close to them.

He is loyal to a fault, and will often rearrange his life completely just to fit in with someone elses life. Anything that puts him in their vicinity comes to be first priority, which is the major reason that Griffen moved down to Britannia - to be able to live with Terry. As for the dreams, and calling to be near the lake, well, he's not thinking about that much right now. The last thing he needs is to burn out.
